February 6, 2026 – The official teaser for the highly anticipated 10-episode series The Miniature Wife was released today, starring Emmy^®-nominated Elizabeth Banks (The Better Sister, The Hunger Games) and BAFTA and Emmy^®-winning Matthew Macfadyen (Succession, Deadpool & Wolverine). The dramedy will premiere April 10, all episodes at once, only on Stan in Australia.

Based on the short story written by Manuel Gonzales, The Miniature Wife is a dramedy examining the power (im)balances between spouses after a technological accident induces the ultimate relationship crisis.

The series features an impressive ensemble cast including Ronny Chieng (The Daily Show, Crazy Rich Asians), Zoe Lister-Jones (New Girl, Life In Pieces, Friends with Better Lives), Sofia Rosinsky (Paper Girls, Death and Other Details), O-T Fagbenle (The Handmaid’s Tale, Presumed Innocent), Sian Clifford (Fleabag, The Ballad of Wallis Island), Aasif Mandvi (Evil, The Daily Show), Rong Fu (Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Hello (Again)) and Tricia Black (Small Achievable Goals, Pretty Hard Cases).

The Miniature Wife is an Original Series from Media Res (The Morning Show, Pachinko). The series is created, written, and executive produced by showrunners Jennifer Ames and Steve Turner (Boardwalk Empire, Goliath). Directed and executive produced by Greg Mottola (Superbad, The Daytrippers), the series is executive produced by Michael Ellenberg and Lindsey Springer for Media Res, Michael Aguilar (I’m Dying Up Here, Kidding, Penny Dreadful: City of Angels), and Suzanne Heathcote (The Crowded Room, Killing Eve). Stars Elizabeth Banks and Matthew Macfadyen also serve as executive producers. The Miniature Wife is distributed internationally by Sony Pictures Television.
