October 13 2025 – Stan today released an exclusive sneak peek of Will Forte (The Last Man on Earth, Bodkin, Saturday Night Live) and D’Arcy Carden (Nobody Wants This, The Good Place, Barry) in the upcoming eight-part Stan Original Sunny Nights, and announced the comedic crime drama will premiere Boxing Day, all episodes at once, only on Stan.

Directed and executive produced by Trent O’Donnell (Stan Original Population 11 and No Activity, Hacks, Colin from Accounts), the first look scene features American siblings, Martin Marvin (Forte) and Vicki Marvin (Carden), in urgent need of a loan, signalling that the duo have found themselves in hot water.

Sunny Nights follows straight-laced Martin, who teams up with his loose cannon sister, Vicki, to set up a spray tan business in Sydney. Home to one of the highest skin cancer rates in the world, Australia is also home to Martin’s estranged wife, whom he’s determined to win back. But as Martin and Vicki attempt to turn their company from a start-up operating out of the back of a van into a multi-million-dollar empire, the siblings become tangled up in Sydney’s criminal underworld, and when a ruthless gangster begins to catch up with them, the two must figure out how to stay alive, out of prison, and in the black.

Sunny Nights supporting cast members include Rachel House (Thor: Ragnarok, Heartbreak High, Foundation), Jessica De Gouw (The Couple Next Door, The Artful Dodger, Ladies in Black), Miritana Hughes (Wakefield, Preacher), Ra Chapman (White Fever, Wentworth), Megan Wilding (Gold Diggers, Mystery Road: Origin), George Mason (Stan Original Exposure and Black Snow Season 2, The Power of the Dog), Matuse (Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, The Fall Guy), former professional rugby league footballer Willie Mason in his debut role, and a special appearance from Patrick Brammall (Colin From Accounts, Stan Original No Activity, The Letdown).
