November 6, 2025 – Stan in partnership with Tasman Fighters, today announced that Australia's top pound-for-pound boxer and only male world champion Jai Opetaia [28-0, 22 KOs] will defend his IBF and The Ring cruiserweight world titles against unbeaten German mandatory challenger, Hüseyin Cinkara [23-0, 19 KOs] at Ring of Fire.
The unmissable showdown will headline an incredible night with seven belts on the line at the Gold Coast Convention Centre on Saturday 6 December, live & exclusive on Stan Pay-Per-View for $50.
Widely regarded as Australia's best pound-for-pound boxer by the world's top boxing promoter Eddie Hearn, the must-see Opetaia is also ranked as no.1 cruiserweight in the world. Known for his destructive power and relentless style he faces a fearsome test in Cinkara, with both men notorious for their knockout ability and neither wanting a blemish on their perfect professional records.
In the co-main event, Australia's top-ranked heavyweight Justis Huni [12-1, 7 KOs] will step into the ring for a rematch with New Zealand’s Kniki Toa Leutele [12-2-2, 8 KOs]. The pair first met in 2022, with Huni claiming the unanimous decision victory. After a setback earlier this year against future heavyweight title challenger Fabio Wardley, Huni will be looking to get his world title aspirations back on track in this anticipated rematch.

On opponent Hüseyin Cinkara, Jai Opetaia said: Cinkara is a tough opponent in my mandatory, however he stands in my way on the road to being undisputed world cruiserweight champion. It's great to end the year up at home on the Gold Coast, and I look forward to putting on a spectacular event again with Tasman Fighters on Stan Pay-Per-View. We will go to war on December 6.
Jai Opetaia is a fourth generation boxer, and Australia's youngest ever Olympic boxer at 16 years of age, with the prodigy turning heads throughout his stellar career. This bout marks his third IBF world title defence in 2025, in his quest to unify the cruiserweight world titles with only WBO and WBA cruiserweight champion Gilberto 'Zurdo' Ramirez and WBC champion Badou Jack left to conquer.
Featuring a stacked card with an astonishing seven titles on the line, Ring of Fire will showcase some of Australia's top boxing stars including Paul Fleming [28-1-1], Jake Wyllie [15-2] and undefeated Olympic heavyweight star Teremoana Teremoana in an unforgettable night of fights.
