COOPER RAIFF, LILI REINHART AND MARK RUFFALO STAR IN THE HEARTWARMING DRAMEDY SERIES ​

May 22, 2025 – Stan today announced the dramedy series Hal & Harper, starring Cooper Raiff (Cha Cha Real Smooth) who also serves as creator and executive producer, Lili Reinhart (Riverdale) and multi-award winning actor Mark Ruffalo (Avengers: Endgame) will premiere June 26, only on Stan.

Hal & Harper are codependent siblings (played by Raiff and Reinhart) doing their best to navigate long-term relationships, friendships, and situationships. When their dad (played by Ruffalo) makes a big announcement, the two are forced to consider the current state of their lives and their complicated childhood. 

Hal & Harper centres on this relatable yet dysfunctional trio and presents two siblings whose co-dependency they view as a unique strength rather than a hindrance. Their deep connection is built on a lifetime of inside jokes and hardship, while delving into past trauma through flashbacks featuring Raiff and Reinhart as their younger selves. Hal & Harper charts the family’s evolution and discovery of how their intense bond has influenced their relationships with those they love, for better or worse.

Hal & Harper also stars Betty Gilpin (The Hunt), Addison Timlin (Blackout), Havana Rose Liu (Mystery Girl) and Alyah Chanelle Scott (The Sex Lives of College Girls).

Known for his feature Shithouse and the Sundance Audience Award-winning coming-of-age rom-com Cha Cha Real Smooth, Raiff debuted his series of Hal & Harper at this year's Sundance Film Festival to great acclaim. 

"I was thinking of kids growing up too fast and that is where the idea of the show came from. The family's childhood house is on the market and they go back in time to deal with the pain the house holds. To get unstuck and heal. I hope people who watch the show can find a similar sense of healing," said Raiff.

Hal & Harper is produced by Thomas Hartmann and Bad Bangs LLC, executive produced by Cooper Raiff, Lili Reinhart, Addison Timlin, Clementine Quittner and Daniel Lewis and is distributed worldwide by Lionsgate.
