June 3, 2025 - The wait is officially over! Millions of devoted Australian fans can now mark their calendars as Stan today proudly announced the premiere date for Outlander: Blood of My Blood, the much-anticipated prequel to the beloved, global phenomenon Sony Pictures Television’s (SPT) Outlander, premiering August 9, exclusively on Stan in Australia.

Starring lead couples Julia Moriston (Hermione Corfield) and Henry Beauchamp (Jeremy Irvine); and Ellen MacKenzie (Harriet Slater) and Brian Fraser (Jamie Roy) Outlander: Blood of My Blood charts an epic dual romance across time - from the brutal realities of ​ World War I to the majestic, untamed Highlands of 18th century Scotland. These are stories of passion, courage and defiance - ​ as young lovers fight to hold onto each other in the face of war, family and fate. 

The prequel both expands and deepens the Outlander universe. It introduces a new generation of cast, characters and stories - perfect for first-time viewers - ​ while offering dedicated fans the origin stories on some of the most beloved characters from the original series. The series shines new light on the legendary love of Claire and Jamie Fraser by revealing the families and legacies that shaped them.

In addition to Corfield, Irvine, Slater and Roy portraying the parents of Outlander's iconic central couple — Outlander: Blood of My Blood features Tony Curran as Simon Fraser, Lord Lovat; Séamus McLean Ross as Colum MacKenzie; Sam Retford as Dougal MacKenzie; Rory Alexander as Murtagh Fitzgibbons Fraser; and Conor MacNeill as Ned Gowan.

Matthew B. Roberts serves as showrunner and executive producer on Outlander: Blood of My Blood with Ronald D. Moore, Maril Davis, Jim Kohlberg also serving as executive producers. Outlander: Blood of My Blood is produced and distributed by Sony Pictures Television.

The Stan Exclusive Series Outlander: Blood of My Blood premieres August 9, followed by new episodes every Saturday, only on Stan in Australia.
