12 August 2025 - With the 2025/26 Premier League season kicking off this weekend, Stan today unveiled its comprehensive coverage plans for the world’s biggest football competition.
As the exclusive new home of the Premier League in Australia, Stan Sport will stream all 380 matches of the season live and on demand, with no ads during play. Fans will be able to experience the world’s greatest football league in a whole new way with world-class coverage featuring analysis and opinion from the game’s biggest names, select matches available in stunning 4K Ultra HD and a fully upgraded interface delivering a best-in-class experience across mobile, smart TVs and consoles.
Later that day, fans can enjoy the first Saturday night blockbuster of the season as Aston Villa face Newcastle - a clash between two clubs riding high after impressive European campaigns. Coverage on Stan Sport begins from 9:00pm AEST, hosted in studio by Adam Peacock alongside Premier League & Socceroos legend Mark Bosnich and former Socceroos captain Craig Foster joined by Mark Pougatch live from Villa Park.
Also headlining the opening weekend is a must-see showdown as Manchester United host Arsenal at Old Trafford, live from 1:20am AEST on Monday 18 August. All ten matches will be available live and on demand on Stan Sport across the opening round.

The action doesn’t stop after the opening weekend. In Matchweek 2, a blockbuster clash between Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur will take centre stage on Saturday 23 August. To celebrate this huge clash, Stan will host a major event at Melbourne’s iconic Federation Square. The free, all-ages event will bring the energy and excitement of Premier League matchday to the heart of the city, with a live big-screen experience, special guest appearances, live entertainment, interactive football moments, exclusive giveaways and more.
To further celebrate the season launch, Stan Sport will simulcast three matches on Channel 9 and 9Now across the first three weeks – including Aston Villa v Newcastle on Saturday 16 August. These limited-time broadcasts offer all Australians a taste of the Premier League, with the full season and every match live and on demand only on Stan Sport.
