July 1, 2025 – Stan today announced the full card for SBW v Gallen – one of the most anticipated showdowns in Australian boxing history with plenty of bad blood – featuring some of the top boxers and rising stars in the nation, with two belts on the line. The action goes down 16 July at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena, with tickets available at Ticketek, and all the action also available to order and watch Live & Exclusive on Stan Pay-Per-View.
Replacing Tyson Pedro on the card to face Kris Terzievski [13-1-2] for the WBA Oceania Bridgerweight and WBC Continental Bridgerweight Titles is Aussie heavyweight standout Troy Pilcher [10-1-1]. With both men known power punchers, and the vast majority of their combined wins coming by knockout, you won't want to blink during this one.

Also joining the card is light heavyweight sensation Clay Waterman [13-2], who was last putting on a stunning fight of the night on Stan Sport's Uncaged event in 2024. He faces dangerous Kiwi Mose Auimatagi Jnr [16-4-2], hunting for a 12th knockout in his exciting career.
In a heavyweight slugfest, Kane Baker [4-2-1] collides with 2012 Olympian Johan Linde [5-2-1], with 'The Iceman' delivering KO's in all five of his professional wins.
Previously announced to be part of the card, New Zealand superstar and Olympic medallist David Nyika [10-1] makes his return to the ring after his meeting with Jai Opetaia to face a veteran in fellow Kiwi Nikolas 'The Greek' Charalampous [23-6-2] in a cruiserweight clash.
Joining them will be the third-generation star with a famous surname, as Rahim Mundine [1-0] joins the fray for his second professional bout, after a successful start to his career on Stan's SBW v Hall Pay-Per-View. He will no doubt have father Anthony 'The Man' Mundine in his corner as he takes on Joe Vatusaqata [1-4].
Finally, the most terrifying teenager in Australia, Alex Leapai Jr [4-0-1], opens the card with a must-see heavyweight blockbuster against the tough Herve Silu Mata [3-3], as Leapai Jr continues his crusade to follow in his famous father's footsteps.
With the card now finalised, both camps are progressing well as they prepare for the biggest fight of their lives, with Gallen bunkered down in his fortress of Cronulla, and Williams relocating his fight camp to the Gold Coast to work with famed trainer 'Tapu' Opetaia, the father of global cruiserweight king Jai Opetaia.
The stars have been throwing their support behind both as well, with New Zealand's biggest boxing star Joseph Parker publicly backing Sonny's ambitions, and Gallen with the support of his Cronulla Sharks peers to get the job done and end his career on a high.
On Wednesday 16 July, two of Australia’s most formidable sporting figures will finally settle the score. More than just a bout, this is unfinished business.
Tickets to SBW v Gallen are on-sale now at Ticketek, and also available to order now in Australia for $70 on Stan Pay-Per-View.
