MILANO CORTINA 2026 PARALYMPIC WINTER GAMES LAUNCH ON STAN SPORT

4 March, 2026 - The most fearless athletes on the planet will descend on the Italian Alps, with Stan Sport offering viewers a complete Paralympic Winter Games experience with every event streamed live and on demand, from Friday, March 6.

Stan Sport will showcase the Paralympic experience like never before, delivering live coverage of all 79 medal events across eight dedicated sport feeds allowing viewers a front row seat from the first gate-drop to the final podium.

The Verona Arena will light up with an electrifying Opening Ceremony live on Stan Sport, Saturday 5:55am AEDT, in the lead up to what is set to be the most inspiring sporting event on the 2026 calendar. The action then explodes with the first gold medals set to be awarded in the Para Alpine Skiing downhill and the Para Biathlon sprint events.

Fans can follow Aussie flagbearer and world-ranked snowboarder Ben Tudhope hunting for the podium in the Snowboard Cross, while multi-sport sensation Lauren Parker makes her historic Winter debut in the Para Nordic disciplines.

Momentum continues throughout the first week with round-robin stages of Wheelchair Curling and Ice Hockey, setting a relentless pace for the games.

Complementing an extensive live offering, Stan Sport will provide a comprehensive on-demand experience including full event replays for every event plus highlights for all medal events allowing fans to relive the thrilling action when they want.

9Now’s Daily Highlights show showcasing the biggest moments and highlights will also be available throughout the Winter Games on Stan and Stan Sport.

The Milano Cortina Paralympics are part of a blockbuster lineup of action on Stan Sport throughout March, including Super Rugby Pacific, Rugby Sevens, Six Nations, UEFA Champions League Round of 16 and the Premier League title race.
