NICK KYRGIOS HUNTING FOR GRAND SLAM GLORY AS WIMBLEDON SERVES UP SOME ACTION ON STAN SPORT

EVERY MATCH STREAMING AD-FREE, LIVE & ON DEMAND WITH CENTRE COURT IN STUNNING 4K UHD.

THE HOME OF GRAND SLAM TENNIS, STAN SPORT.

MONDAY 3 JULY - SUNDAY 16 JULY

29 June 2023 - 2022 finalist Nick Kyrgios returns to the world's most prestigious tennis tournament with the aim of going one better this year, as the 2023 Wimbledon Championships commences Monday night from 8:00pm AEST on the home of Grand Slam tennis, Stan Sport.

Though he may be the most divisive and talked about player on the tour, there is no denying the strong form the world no. 33 has historically showcased at Wimbledon. Standing in Nick's way is the reigning 2022 Wimbledon, 2023 Australian Open and Roland-Garros champion, Novak Djokovic. He will be out to extend his status as arguably the greatest male player of all time, standing alone on top of the mountain with 23 Grand Slams to his name.

Similarly, Spanish sensation and world no.1 Carlos Alcaraz will be looking to redeem himself after cramping cost him the blockbuster matchup with Djokovic almost a month ago in Paris. He and Djokovic have traded the number one ranking several times throughout the year, and being on opposite ends of the draw will mean these hugely talented rivals may well end up facing off in the final one more time.

In the women's draw, classy world no.1 Iga Świątek appears untouchable at the moment, having pulled off another victory at Roland-Garros earlier this month. The only woman who can lay claim to being her equal right now is world no.2 Aryna Sabalenka, the Belarusian powerhouse who has been blowing opponents off the court, and fans will be eagerly anticipating the prospect of another meeting between the two, with results going both ways in recent encounters.

Other key Aussies in the main draw include perennial contender Alex de Minaur (world no.16) who has shown some fine form in recent weeks, and Jason Kubler (world no.74), whose heroics saw him make the final 16 last year, in what was the feel-good story of the tournament following an unlucky history with serious injuries.
