POSTECOGLOU’S PREMIER LEAGUE RETURN HEADLINES ONE OF STAN SPORT’S BIGGEST WEEKENDS YET

Ange Postecoglou’s first outing with Nottingham Forest, Sam Kerr’s potential return for Chelsea and crunch time for the Wallabies and Wallaroos headline the action on Stan Sport.

12 September 2025 - Sports fans, get ready for the biggest weekend of the year with a jam-packed lineup of unmissable action on Stan Sport.

Ange Postecoglou makes his highly anticipated Premier League return as Nottingham Forest face a tough test on the road against Arsenal. Stan Sport is the only place to watch every moment of this massive prime time clash live and in stunning 4K from 9:00pm AEST on Saturday 13 September. Premier League legend Mark Bosnich and former Socceroos captain Craig Foster will be joined by Adam Peacock to guide viewers through every moment. 

This match is part of a massive Premier League Matchweek 4, which concludes with a mouthwatering derby between cross-town rivals, Man City v Man United on Monday morning (AEST).

To begin the build-up to Arsenal v Nottingham Forest, viewers can enjoy an exclusive Stan Sport Special with Ange Postecoglou in his first sit-down interview with Adam Peacock, now streaming on Stan Sport.

And it’s not just Ange flying the flag for Australia. Sam Kerr is set to make her long-awaited return for Chelsea alongside Matildas teammate Ellie Carpenter against Aston Villa in the WSL Matchweek 2. All the action will be streamed live on Sunday 14 September on Stan Sport from 8:50pm AEST, one of six matches to enjoy across the weekend.

The rugby action promises to be just as fierce. The Wallaroos face their biggest test yet with a Rugby World Cup quarter-final showdown against Canada on Sunday 14 September at 12:30am AEST. Bringing viewers all the action will be Aussie 7s Gold Medallist Alicia Lucas, former Wallaby Morgan Turinui and Kiri Barker with Andrew Swain in commentary. 

The Wallabies also remain in the hunt to win their first Rugby Championship crown in a decade with a rematch against Argentina, while the Springboks look to settle the score against the All Blacks in one of international rugby’s great rivalries.
