STAN DELIVERS A KILLER TAN WITH BEACHSIDE 'TANSFORM' STUNT, INSPIRED BY THE UPCOMING ​

December 13, 2025 - Stan has turned up the heat, today welcoming crowds to Bondi Beach to ‘fake it, don’t bake it’ as part of a nationwide teaser campaign in the lead-up to the Boxing Day premiere of the new Stan Original Sunny Nights.

Bringing the series’ tanning brand Tansform to life in a major one-day activation, locals lined up at Bondi Beach for an experience like no other. With tanning samples, playful merchandise, an oversized mascot, a seaplane flyover towing a giant banner, The TODAY Show weatherman Nick 'Ducko' Allen-Ducat broadcasting live on site, and the chance to win a 12 month subscription to Stan, beachgoers crowded the activation for a glimpse of the “killer tanning solution”.

The stunt was inspired by the upcoming premiere of the Stan Original Sunny Nights, a comedic drama that follows straight-laced Martin (Will Forte), who teams up with his loose cannon sister, Vicki (D’Arcy Carden), to set up a spray tan business, Tansform, in Australia, home to one of the highest skin cancer rates in the world. But as Martin and Vicki attempt to turn their company from a start-up operating out of the back of a van into a multi-million-dollar empire, the siblings become tangled up in Sydney’s criminal underworld. 

Today’s Bondi Beach Tansform activation is part of a broader national campaign to tease the upcoming series, with the tanning brand seen in outdoor advertising across the country, as well as digital placements, influencer packages and a dedicated Tansform Instagram page.

Sunny Nights is a Stan Original from Jungle Entertainment (Stan Originals No Activity, Population 11) and Echo Lake Entertainment (The Great) in association with Cineflix Rights (Last King of The Cross, Tehran) with major production investment from Screen Australia, and financed with support from Screen NSW through the Made in NSW Fund.
