15 December, 2023Stan Sport today announced a spectacular Summer of Tennis lineup, with four major tournaments building to the highlight of the summer, Australian Open 2024. Every match of AO ad-free, live and on demand with centre court in stunning 4K UHD on the Home of Grand Slam Tennis, Stan Sport.

For all the Australian Open headlines, talking points and highlights, Grand Slam Daily returns, hosted by Chris Stubbs and joined by a range of experts including Aussie tennis legend Wally Masur. Streaming live every day from Melbourne Park at 7:00am AEDT and exclusively on Stan, the show will chat to some of the biggest names in the world of tennis, getting their unmatched perspective on all the action that unfolds.

Stan Sport’s Summer of Tennis begins with exclusive rights to the World Tennis League (December 21 - 24), with its second star-studded season taking place over four days in Abu Dhabi. The team-based format brings together sixteen of the biggest names in tennis, drafted into the various squads to take each other on in a competition unlike any other on the tennis calendar.

Stars included in the tournament include the likes of Iga Świątek (World no.1), Daniil Medvedev (World no.3), Aryna Sabalenka (World no.2), Andrey Rublev (World no.5) and Elena Rybakina (World no.4) in a spectacle fans can’t afford to miss.

The action then heads Down Under, with the United Cup hosted out of Sydney and Perth (December 29 - January 7) and featuring a unique team-based structure, highlighting eighteen of the top tennis nations. Stars taking part include the best male and female players on the planet - Novak Djokovic (Serbia, World no.1) and Iga Świątek (Poland, World no.1), in addition to many other superstars including top ranked Aussie Alex de Minaur (Australia, World no.12) and the returning Ajla Tomljanovic (Australia), American powerhouse Jessica Pegula (USA, World no.5) and crowd favourite Stefanos Tsitsipas (Greece, World no.6).

Simultaneously, the Brisbane International (December 31 - January 7) will take flight, boasting nine former Grand Slam singles champions in its spectacular draw, headlined by the returning icon Rafael Nadal, who had taken most of 2023 off while recovering from injury. Superstar Naomi Osaka will also take part, returning to Australia for the first time in years following an extended break from the sport. Other big names competing include Aryna Sabalenka (World No.2), Elena Rybakina (World no.4), Holger Rune (World no.8) and Grigor Dimitrov (World no.14).

Following this, the Adelaide International (January 8 - 13) offers stars a final chance to hone their skills before the big dance. South Australia will play host to the game's biggest rising stars including Elena Rybakina (World no.4) and Caroline Garcia (World no.20), and a slew of Aussie favourites, including Alexei Popyrin (World no.40), Ajla Tomljanovic, and hometown hero and 2022 champion, Thanasi Kokkinakis (World no. 65).

Finally, the main event of the summer arrives, as the superstars of the tennis world descend upon Melbourne for Australian Open 2024 (January 14 - 28). With a blockbuster lineup of names in both draws, the tournament is guaranteed to deliver fireworks, breathtaking matchups, and historic moments. Every match from Rod Laver Arena will also be exclusively available in stunning 4K UHD on Stan Sport.

In the men’s draw, another epic confrontation between the top two men’s players in the world in Novak Djokovic (World no.1) and Spanish maestro Carlos Alcaraz (World no.2) could be destined, with the two continuing to duel over the top spot over the past year. Breathing down their necks will be returning two-time AO champion Rafael Nadal, with speculation rampant that every Grand Slam could be the Spanish legend’s last.

The women’s draw is also heating up, as Belarussian powerhouse Aryna Sabalenka (World no.2) inches ever closer to world no.1 rival Iga Świątek. The women’s draw is wide open, with the world going loco for Coco Gauff (World no.3) who is coming off her best season, including winning the 2023 US Open, and Elena Rybakina (World no.4) who was last year's runner-up. Two-time AO champion Naomi Osaka also returns to put the field on notice.

The Aussie contingent will be led by Alex de Minaur, who at World no.12 is in career-best form at the moment, and all eyes will be on the returning Ajla Tomljanovic, who missed much of the 2023 calendar through injury, but can mix it with the best in the world on her day.

The Australian Open kicks off another huge year of Grand Slam Tennis on Stan Sport, the only place to watch every match from the AO, Roland-Garros, Wimbledon and the US Open.

Every match of the World Tennis League, United Cup, Brisbane International, Adelaide International and Australian Open 2024 will be live, ad-free and on demand on the Home of Grand Slam Tennis, Stan Sport.
