20 August 2025 - The final Grand Slam of the year takes centre stage in New York with all the action from the US Open streamed live and on demand on Stan Sport.
A revitalised mixed doubles draw kicks off proceedings ahead of the main draws, live and exclusive on Stan Sport, with a $1 million USD prize money enticing some of the game’s biggest stars. Sixteen pairs will feature, including Katerina Siniakova & Jannik Sinner, Emma Raducanu & Carlos Alcaraz and the all-American pair of Madison Keys & Francis Tiafoe. The finals will take place tomorrow morning from 9:00am AEST.
Singles action begins on Monday 25 August from 1:00am AEST daily, with every match live and on demand on Stan Sport, with select coverage also available on Channel 9 and 9Now.
Fans will be watching closely to see if men's world No.1 and defending champion Janik Sinner has fully recovered after retiring ill during last week’s final against rival Carlos Alcaraz [2] in Cincinnati. Between them, the pair have claimed the last seven Grand Slams and their stranglehold on the men's tennis shows no side of ending.
The Aussie men’s contingent led by Alex de Minaur [8] will be hoping to replicate their 2024 performance where four men reached the third round for the first time since 1997. His compatriots Alexei Popyrin [37], Jordan Thompson [57] and Chris O’Connell [79] will also be looking to make deep runs in New York after strong showings in recent months.
On the women’s side of the draw, world No.1 Aryna Sabalenka returns to Flushing Meadows determined to defend her crown and reassert her dominance after going without a title since last year’s US Open. She will face fierce competition from a stacked field, including Wimbledon champion Iga Swiatek [2] and Roland-Garros champion Coco Gauff [3]. Australians Daria Kasatkina [17] and Maya Joint [42] will fly the flag in the women’s draw.

For all the latest news, talking points and highlights, Grand Slam Daily returns. Hosted by Chris Stubbs alongside former Australian tennis greats Casey Dellacqua and Wally Masur, the show will stream live and exclusive on Stan Sport beginning Monday August 25 at 2:30pm AEST. Live from Flushing Meadows, reporter Duncan McKenzie-McHarg will bring viewers unique courtside access and exclusive chats with the sport’s biggest names.
The US Open compliments a blockbuster month of action on Stan Sport which includes The Rugby Championship, Women’s Rugby World Cup and Premier League.
