A first look image of upcoming Robin Hood series has been released, featuring Sean Bean (Game of Thrones) in character as the Sheriff of Nottingham alongside Connie Nielsen (Gladiator) as Eleanor of Aquitaine. Following the Norman invasion of England, the series centres around Rob (Jack Patten) – a Saxon forester’s son – and Marian (Lauren McQueen), the daughter of a Norman lord – who fall in love and work together to fight for justice and freedom. As Rob rises as the leader of a band of rebel outlaws, Marian infiltrates the power at court, as both work together to thwart royal corruption and bring peace to the land.

A ROMANTIC TALE THAT UNFOLDS ACROSS TIME. A NEW EPISODE OF OUTLANDER: BLOOD OF MY BLOOD PREMIERES TOMORROW, AUGUST 23.

A prequel to Outlander, the series explores the lives and relationships of two couples as they fight against all odds to be together: the parents of Outlander’s Claire Randall - Julia Moriston (Hermione Corfield) and Henry Beauchamp (Jeremy Irvine); and those of Outlander’s Jamie Fraser -Ellen MacKenzie (Harriet Slater) and Brian Fraser (Jamie Roy). From the battlefields of World War I to the rugged Highlands of 18th century Scotland, two fated couples must defy the forces that seek to tear them apart, intersecting in surprising and unforeseen ways.

In this week's episode Henry’s knowledge of the future helps him as he puts his own spin on a difficult task. Julia helps Brian and Ellen reunite and shares some important news with Lord Lovat, and Ellen learns some concerning information about the family into which she’s expected to marry.

Meanwhile, in a nearby town, haunted former police officer Tim Jamieson (Ben Barnes) is trying to outrun his past. But peace won’t come easily, as Tim’s path is set to collide with Luke’s in a battle far bigger than either could imagine.

The season finale of The Institute premieres August 24, only on Stan.
