STAN ANNOUNCES A NEW ERA OF AUSTRALIAN STORIES AND WORLD-CLASS GLOBAL CONTENT AT NINE UPFRONT.

Stan has sparked a new wave of cultural conversation after announcing a landmark lineup of Australian and global content at the Nine 2027 Upfront. Cementing itself as Australia’s home of world-class entertainment and sport, Stan will deliver one of its biggest years of Originals, Exclusives, blockbuster international titles, and sport. ​

Among the slate of premium Australian content, Stan has announced the return of beloved rural drama McLeod’s Daughters as a Stan Original, as well as new Originals Slander starring Rachel Griffiths, Two Birds starring Jacki Weaver, and Stuck Up & Stupid adapted from Angourie Rice and Kate Rice’s bestselling novel.

Stan continues to expand its unscripted slate, with Hamish Blake joining Stan for the launch of Unskilled Adult, as well as the return of the wildly popular MAFS: After the Dinner Party with hosts Jules Lund, Brittany Hockley and Laura Byrne.

PREPARE FOR GNOME-AGEDDON! THE STAN ORIGINAL GNOMES STARRING ASA BUTTERFIELD PREMIERES OCTOBER 8.

Senior Sergeant Arnold Kipps (Asa Butterfield) is having a totally sub-par day in suburbia. His ex-partner and ex-flame Ellie McKay (Megan Smart) has just returned to Nompton to shut down his police station, right when an ancient, evil force is awakened by the bloodthirsty Gnome Queen. Unleashing a nightmare horde of killer ceramic gnomes upon the unsuspecting town, Nompton is instantly plunged into pure, unadulterated chaos.

Armed with an array of unconventional weapons, and sheer desperation, Arnold and Ellie must reunite a ragtag team of misfit cops, rebellious teens, and an overly ambitious mayor to stop the Gnome Queen’s rampage before the entire town gets dug up from the roots.

Evoking the beloved, splatter-gore spirit of classic 80s monster mashups like Gremlins and the dark laugh-out-loud humour of Hot Fuzz, the series stars Asa Butterfield (Sex Education) and Megan Smart (Stan Original Black Snow).

THE BELOVED OUTLANDER: BLOOD OF MY BLOOD RETURNS FOR ANOTHER CAPTIVATING SEASON 3PM AEST TOMORROW, SEPTEMBER 19.

The heart-pounding new season takes viewers on a captivating journey back in time to 1700s Scotland and the start of the Jacobite Uprising. Our lovers are separated once again as the Scottish Highlands are split in two by the 1715 Jacobite Rising, thrusting the clans into war and forcing them to choose a side in the rebellion.

Everyone has their own war to fight this season, as the series’ two young couples desperately try to find their way back to each other amid brutal battles, shifting loyalties, clan politics and the unknown elements of traveling through the infamous standing stones of Craigh Na Dun.

The new season of Outlander: Blood of My Blood premieres 3pm AEST tomorrow, Saturday September 19, only on Stan.

INSPIRED BY THE HARROWING TRUE STORY OF FRED HECKMAN, AMERICAN HOSTAGE STARRING JON HAMM PREMIERES THIS SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 20.

A psychological thriller set in the 1970s, American Hostage is inspired by the harrowing true story of Fred Heckman, a beloved Indianapolis radio reporter who is thrust into the middle of a life-or-death crisis when hostage-taker Tony Kiritsis demands to be interviewed on his popular radio news program.

Based on the acclaimed first season of the scripted podcast of the same name, American Hostage stars Emmy^® winner Jon Hamm (Your Friends & Neighbors, Fargo, Mad Men) as Fred Heckman, alongside Emmy^® nominee Giovanni Ribisi (Avatar, On the Verge, Sneaky Pete) as Tony Kiritsis.

American Hostage premieres this Sunday, September 20, only on Stan.

The legend continues with the latest psychological thriller from A24, Crystal Lake, the prequel series from the world of Friday the 13th.

See Emmy nominee Linda Cardellini (DTF St. Louis, Dead to Me) as Pam Voorhees, a single mother grieving the death of her young son Jason, who tragically drowned in the town lake a year prior. When two strangers suddenly arrive at Pam’s door, digging into her past, a disturbing chain of events is set into motion that has the townspeople wondering: just who is Pam Voorhees, and what horrors haunt Crystal Lake?

Crystal Lake was created by showrunner, writer, and executive producer Brad Caleb Kane, who joins A24 and original Friday the 13th writer Victor Miller and Horror, Inc. in bringing the Jason Universe story to the screen.

The new series Crystal Lake premieres October 16, all episodes at once, only on Stan.
