Representing Australia is Nero Buys from regional NSW. After a career in the Australian Army including serving in Afghanistan, he left the army to become a stay-at-home dad. During this time, he discovered a love for bushcraft and sharing this knowledge with others, including setting up a children's outdoor program alongside his wife Jen. Now he is keen to bring his years of Australian bushcraft experience to the Alone challenge and compete for the title of World Champion.
