STAN'S SEPTEMBER HIGHLIGHTS

Stan's biggest lineup of entertainment is coming in September including the hilarious new Stan Original Series C*A*U*G*H*T featuring an all-star cast premiering September 28, and the brand new series The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, the highly anticipated second series to expand The Walking Dead universe premiering September 11. Stan will also be home of the Rugby World Cup, the biggest sporting event on the global calendar this year.

Created by Kick Gurry (Edge of Tomorrow) and starring an all-star cast including Academy Award winner Sean Penn (Gaslit), Golden Globe nominee Matthew Fox (Lost), Golden Globe nominee Bryan Brown (Palm Beach), Academy Award winner Susan Sarandon (Thelma & Louise), Travis Fimmel (Stan Original Series Black Snow) and Tuppence Middleton (Downton Abbey).

After the Australian Minister of Defence texts a ‘secret file’ to the Princess of Behati-Prinsloo, a small island nation, he sends four Australian soldiers into the war-town country on a secret mission to retrieve the file. Mistaken for Americans, they are captured by freedom fighters and produce a hostage video that goes viral. When the soldiers reach celebrity status on social media, they realise that being caught might just be the best thing that could’ve happened to them. They’re about to make search history.

The series also stars Ben O’Toole, Lincoln Younes, Alexander England, Mel Jarnson, Fayssal Bazzi, Dorian Nkono, Rebecca Breeds, Bella Heathcote and Erik Thomson.

The Stan Original Documentary, Revealed Danielle Laidley: Two Tribes documents Laidley’s life so far, from her career as a high-profile football player and coach to her battles with drug addiction and gender dysphoria. She speaks to the courage enabled by Donna, a lifelong friend turned supportive partner. Viewers will see Dani and Donna navigate their paths forward in a critical two years under public scrutiny. Dani will launch her autobiography, approach the AFL to put her voice toward inclusivity, strive to rebuild family relationships and work to find her place in the community as an LGBTQI+ representative.

Rugby World Cup 2023
