October 27, 2026 – One of television’s most enduring and globally recognised franchises returns on January 7, 2027, exclusively on Stan in Australia. The twelve-episode action-drama from Fremantle and Fox Entertainment reimagines Baywatch for a new generation, following an all-new team of lifeguards as they patrol the world’s most famous stretch of sand.

The new version of Baywatch finds wild-child legacy character Hobie Buchannon (Stephen Amell) serving as a Baywatch Captain, following in the footsteps of his legendary father, Mitch, leading a new generation of lifeguards to the Southern California coast, where high-stakes rescues collide with attraction, friendship, family, and responsibility.

\u200bHobie’s world is turned upside down when his daughter Charlie Vale (Jessica Belkin) shows up on his doorstep eager to carry on the Buchannon family legacy. The series also stars Hassie Harrison as Nat, Shay Mitchell as Trina, Thaddeus LaGrone as Brad, Noah Beck as Luke, and Brooks Nader as Selene. In recurring roles, Livvy Dunne will make her acting debut as Grace, and David Chokachi will reprise his original series character of Cody Madison. Erika Eleniak, Michael Bergin, and Kelly Packard will also guest star in their roles as Shauni McClain, Jack J.D. Darius, and April Giminski, respectively.

\u200bThe \u200b series is co-produced by Fremantle and FOX Entertainment; Matt Nix (Burn Notice, The Gifted) serves as Showrunner and Executive Producer alongside executive producers McG, Michael Berk, Greg Bonann, Doug Schwartz, Dante Di Loreto and Mike Horowitz. McG (Charlie’s Angels) directs the series premiere episode. FOX Entertainment Global holds all domestic distribution rights, and Fremantle manages all international sales.
