THE CARNAGE BEGINS!
FIRST LOOK AT ANTHONY MACKIE AND STEPHANIE BEATRIZ IN THE NEW SEASON OF TWISTED METAL PREMIERING JULY 31, ONLY ON STAN

July 10, 2025 – Prepare for chaos, Stan today released the trailer for the new season of Twisted Metal, based on the PlayStation® cult classic video game starring Anthony Mackie (Captain America: Brave New World) and Stephanie Beatriz (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) premiering July 31, only on Stan.
Twisted Metal is a high-octane action comedy, based on an original take by Rhett Reese (Deadpool) and Paul Wernick (Zombieland) about a motor-mouthed outsider offered a chance at a better life, but only if he can successfully deliver a mysterious package across a post-apocalyptic wasteland.
In the new season of Twisted Metal, get ready for some car-nage. Following the revelations in the season one finale, John and Quiet find themselves entering the deadly TWISTED METAL tournament, a sinister demolition derby hosted by a mysterious man known as Calypso. As they try to survive an onslaught of dangerous new foes and familiar faces alike, including the murderous clown Sweet Tooth, things get complicated for John when he reunites with his long-lost sister, the vigilante Dollface.

Starring Anthony Mackie (‘John Doe’), Stephanie Beatriz (‘Quiet’), Joe Seanoa and Will Arnett (‘Sweet Tooth’), Anthony Carrigan (‘Calypso’) and Michael James Shaw as fan favourite ‘Axel’. Recurring guest stars include Mike Mitchell, Saylor Bell Curda, Patty Guggenheim, Tiana Okoye, Richard De Klerk, Michael James Shaw and Lisa Gilroy.
Twisted Metal is written by Michael Jonathan Smith and executive produced by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, Anthony Mackie, Will Arnett and Marc Forman, Jason Spire, Grant Dekernion, Peter Principato, Asad Qizilbash and Carter Swan from PlayStation Productions and Hermen Hulst, CEO, Studio Business Group, Sony Interactive Entertainment. The second season is directed by Phil Sgriccia (201-202, 205-206), Bill Benz (203-204, 211-212), Iain MacDonald (207-208) and Bertie Ellwood (209-210). The project is produced by Sony Pictures Television, PlayStation Productions and Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group.
The new season of Twisted Metal premieres July 31 with three episodes, only on Stan. New episodes weekly.
