TRAVIS FIMMEL IS BACK WITH ANOTHER GRIPPING COLD CASE.

Lee Tiger Halley and Caroline Craig join Travis Fimmel and George Mason in the third season of the critically acclaimed series.

March 5 2026 – Travis Fimmel will return to Queensland for the third season of the smash-hit Stan Original Black Snow, as filming commences in Cairns in April.
The six-part mystery-drama produced by Goalpost Pictures sees Travis Fimmel reprise his role as James Cormack to investigate a brand new cold case. George Mason will return as Ritchie Cormack alongside Rose Riley as Jade, with new cast members Lee Tiger Halley (Boy Swallows Universe), Caroline Craig (Anzac Girls) and Samson Alston (Stan Original Year Of).

A new mystery, a new supporting cast, and a new location in Far North Queensland. This time, the cold case is personal when James Cormack’s long lost brother Ritchie (Mason) is about to stand trial for the 1999 murder of his best friend, Liam Knox.
Set in tropical far north Queensland, where Liam’s family runs a charter boat business, Cormack will risk everything to solve the toughest cold case of his career.

The new season of Black Snow will be directed by Daniel Nettheim (Stan Original The Assassin), Christiaan Van Vuuren (Top End Bub), and Travis Fimmel (Stan Original Black Snow). Goalpost Pictures’ executive producers Rosemary Blight (Stan Original Black Snow), Kylie du Fresne (The Invisible Man) and Ben Grant (Top End Bub) return to the series, alongside executive producers Travis Fimmel and Lucas Taylor (Stan Original Black Snow) who also serves as series creator. Stan Executive Producers are Donna Chang and Andy Ryan. Lucas Taylor and Beatrix Christian return as writers, with Milly Olrog as Producer, and Rob Marsh (Deadloch) as Director of Photography.
The brand new season of the Stan Original Black Snow is produced in association with All3Media International and AMC Networks streamer Sundance Now and with financial support from Screen Queensland and Screen NSW.
