The Assassin follows retired assassin Julie (Keeley Hawes) and her estranged son Edward (Freddie Highmore) as they are forced to flee an idyllic Greek island when Julie’s dangerous past catches up with her. With questions around Edward’s paternity and Julie’s past life as a hitwoman, the pair go on the run across Europe, working together in a fight for survival.
Along the way, their dysfunctional relationship is tested to its limits. They uncover a dark conspiracy they believe to be their only threat, but a greater danger emerges that could destroy their relationship entirely. A must-win second Test match for The Wallabies against the British & Irish Lions takes place this Saturday in Melbourne. Australia has beaten the Lions in their last two Test matches in the Victorian capital - with a 35-14 rout in 2001 followed by a 16-15 thriller in 2013.
This time the MCG will play host with more than 90,000 fans expected, where the Wallabies are likely to welcome back some serious horsepower in Rob Valetini and Will Skelton to boost their chances.
